Emergency communications and disaster recovery have become an issue of increasing importance in communities throughout the United States. Concerns about interoperability of diverse origins of emergency communications, back-up power and other resources, and the ability to respond at the site of a failure quickly and safely must be addressed by municipalities. The eCorridors group is developing papers that address research questions in the area of emergency communications. Articles and other resources pertaining to this topic can be found here.
