The primary purpose and value of this paper is to educate the Virginia Tech network engineers and technical staff as to what is available to work with and to assess the communications service needs of the region. It is hoped that the documentation of these resources will also serve the local community in ways that are useful for economic development and the future recruitment of new technology businesses. |
